Hello,
A little bit about me....
I've always had 2 loves in my life...animals and art. I was very fortunate to have been brought up in beautiful South Devon, and there is where my love of the countryside, animals and wildlife began.

At the age of 16yrs, I left school and became a Veterinary Nurse in my local practice. I loved it, but still had a hankering to do something in art. At the age of 21yrs I had the opportunity to go to Art College. I studied Graphic Design at Plymouth College of Art, and after qualifying I left Devon and moved up to London to follow my career.

I worked for 25 years in the Graphic Design industry in Surrey, Sussex and London.
Over that time my love of animals continued and I gained dogs, cats, rabbits and horses.
The desire to move back to a more rural way of life gradually became more important than
my career.
​
In July 2017, with my husband, we bought a 16 acre smallholding in West Wales.
The dream of being able to look out of my kitchen window and see my horses grazing on
my own fields was finally fulfilled!
Being located, once again, in such a beautiful rural location has inspired me to start
illustrating again.
​
I paint onto reclaimed welsh slate and canvas, and create art with wire, driftwood and vintage buttons.
I love colour and recently have been experimented using more unsusual colours in my art.
​
Everything in nature inspires and influences me, and I continue to add to the collection of paintings, originals, commissions and prints.
